ABOUT coach KJ
K.J. Kearney led Dinwiddie High School to its first-ever state championship in 2013, cementing his legacy as one of the school’s greatest quarterbacks. His leadership and skill on the field earned him first-team All-District, All-Conference, and All-State honors during his senior season. After high school, K.J. took his talents to Christopher Newport University in Newport News, where he made an immediate impact. He set a school record with 355 passing yards in a single game and was named first-team All-Conference. He’s been a dedicated volunteer coach with UQBT since 2023 and now steps into an even bigger role.
